Whether you're a seasoned angler or just starting out, Lakeside Camping & Fisheries offers a friendly, well-managed coarse fishing experience in the heart of Lincolnshire. Our three well-stocked lakes are open all year round, with fishing permitted from 7:00am until dusk daily.

We welcome anglers of all ages and abilities, with day tickets available to purchase on-site from our tackle shop or café. Our lakes are stocked with a range of species including Carp, Tench, Roach, Bream and Perch — and we’ve got plenty of comfortable pegs and peaceful surroundings to enjoy your time by the water.

Day Ticket Fishing

Turn Up, Tackle Up and Enjoy the Day

No booking required — simply visit our on-site shop when you arrive to purchase your day ticket. Whether you're here for a few peaceful hours or a full day by the water, our friendly team is on hand to offer advice, recommend bait and help you get the most from your session.

Our biggest and most popular water

Main Lake

The Main Lake offers a range of open water and marginal features. It’s perfect if you're targeting larger fish or enjoy setting up for a full day of focused fishing. Pegs are spacious and well-positioned for comfort and access.

  • Average depth: 6–8 feet

  • Species: Mirror Carp, Common Carp, Tench, Bream, Perch, Roach

  • Carp range: Up to 30lb+

  • Best for: Experienced anglers, specimen hunters, full-day sessions

Scenic and sheltered, with a central island for added interest.

Island Lake

This beautiful lake provides a slightly more secluded feel, with consistent action throughout the day. The island feature makes it a great spot for anglers who enjoy casting to features and varying their approach.

  • Average depth: 5–7 feet

  • Species: Carp (up to 15lb), Bream, Perch, Tench, Roach

  • Best for: Casual anglers, intermediate skill level, quiet fishing sessions

Easy-access fishing for beginners and laid-back days.

Kingfisher Lake

This smaller, friendly lake is perfect for those new to fishing or anyone wanting a calm, easy-going day. It’s close to the café and facilities, with consistent bites and plenty of smaller species to keep the rod bending.

  • Average depth: 4–6 feet

  • Species: Mixed Silverfish, smaller Carp, Roach, Perch

  • Carp range: Up to 10lb

  • Best for: Beginners, families, relaxing sessions, quick visits

Fishery Rules & Safety Guidelines

Respect the Waters – Protect the Fish – Enjoy the Experience

Fishing Rules

Please read carefully before fishing. These rules are in place to protect the fish, maintain the lakes, and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all anglers.

  • All nets must be dipped before fishing.

  • Barbless hooks only – maximum size 10.

  • Groundbait to be used in feeders or pole cups only.

  • Keepnets must be carp-friendly and approved for use.

  • No fish over 3lb to be placed in keepnets.

  • Keepnets must be removed from 12:00pm to 2:00pm.

  • No floating poles or surface fishing allowed.

  • No feeding of floating baits.

  • Rods must not be left unattended at any time.

  • Bite alarm volumes must be kept to a minimum.

  • Handle fish with wet hands or landing nets only – no towels.

  • No night fishing.

  • All pegs must be left clean – remove all rubbish.

  • Minimum hook length: 4 inches.

  • You must have a landing net and disgorger before starting to fish.

  • No braid is allowed.

  • No cat or dog meat permitted.

  • Bread is not allowed as bait.

  • Only Lakeside fisheries feed pellets may be used.

  • Maximum 2kg of groundbait per day.

  • No nuts or seed baits, except sweetcorn and hemp.

  • No fixed rigs – all leads and feeders must be free-running.

  • Do not drop fish into keepnets – use a landing net to place them in.

  • Do not walk around with fish – return them using a landing net.

  • Respect other anglers – keep noise to a minimum.

  • Do not throw unwanted bait into the lake or leave it on the bank.

  • No driving on the grass unless given permission by staff.

⚠️ Important Notices

It is an offence to introduce or remove fish from the ponds.

These waters are dangerous. Anyone approaching the lakes accepts full responsibility for their own safety and the safety of others.

The management accepts no liability for damage, injury or loss of property while on site.

Failure to follow the above rules will result in immediate removal from the site.
